Designing a personalized wellness program experience to drive participation and engagement.
American Specialty Health’s network and services come from a variety of backgrounds. However, one common goal all of them have is to work on their health and fitness goals. However, 40% of people who want to work on their fitness lifestyle claim that it’s most difficult to start and maintain being fit. Therefore, Healthyroads' motivates and empowers people to work out and participate through our incentive program where people are able to earn rewards for participating and accomplishing their workout goals.
I work on optimizing the current incentive experience for our external and internal users in order to help them live their healthiest best lives.
I feel fortunate to be a part of a design team of innovative thinkers, design leaders, and dedicated community members. After graduating from UC San Diego, I realized that I didn’t want to miss the opportunities to learn and grow to be a better designer, however, I realized growth didn’t only happen in the classroom.
Seattle Interactive Conference is a celebration of the incredible work happening at the intersection of technology, creativity and industry. We spotlight innovation in experience, design, and strategy. We believe in the power of creative thinking, and that data and technology can be leveraged to help us make better, intentional choices. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend at 2019! I hope to be able to visit again to speak when we’re able to!
San Diego Design Trek is a 3-day trek from North County to Central San Diego, and Downtown. Each company gave around 50 early-career UX professionals a 90-minute window to tour their space, experience their culture, and network with their designers.
American Specialty Health is a part of the trek where I was able to present and showcase my current work and innovation projects.
Design Forward Alliance ignites conversation and action around how human-centered design (HCD) can improve the way we live, work and play, and provide businesses, educators and government with the tools to affect real and lasting change. I was part of collaborating in 2019’s Design Charette to discuss an important conversation about the passion for design here in San Diego, and our commitment to Human-Centered Design as a catalyst for business growth, social good and prosperity.
